THE HEIBERG COLLECTION - SOGN FOLKMUSEUM

The open-air museum features over 30 buildings, which span from the Middle Age cottages to the prefabricated homes of the 19680s, 
situated in a vibrant cultural landscape. 

At Vestrheim in Sogndal muncipality you find the Heiberg Collections - Sogn Folk Museum. The museum was founded in 1909 by Gert Falch Heiberg, and is one of the country´s largest and oldest museums
of cultural history. Traditional farming with animals during the summer months.

The main building contais a permanent Exhibitions on agriculture and food, handicrafts and Agricultural art, clothes and textiles, the shurch and religion, small coastal villages, village stores and childhodd.

Experience playgrounds, historical walks and the vibrant museum With houses filled with handicraft and oppupants. 

Farming activities every Wednesday from 23.June - 4.August.

Café and gift shop. Daily guided tours in June, July and August Monday - Friday at 12, or upon request.
